              Local journalists in Ranchi thought Team India Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has slammed the doors in their face. But the perception changed after the retirement of V V Laxman.
              Laxman's parting remarks: "The past 4-5 hours were emotional, talking to my colleagues with whom I've shared the dressing room. I have not been able to get in touch with 'MS' (Dhoni) as he is very hard to reach."              
                         
            Veteran cricket writer Pradeep Magazine: "...he (Laxman)  would not tolerate any perceived or real injustice done to him...."

             Sourav Ganguly; "It's fantastic decision...By this, he has sent a loud and clear message to the selectors. (Captains have a role in selections)."
