Naxalism

A senior IAS officer of Jharkhand recently told the Kolkata press that naxalism in Jharkhand had been exaggerated, hurting tourism in the state. A couple of months later, Union Home Minister declares Jharkhand along with Chhatisgarh as the 'epicentre' of naxalism.
